Experiencing the Happiest Year with Jaymes Young

A little past 8:00 PM Phil Good came on stage and the scream from one of his fans made all of the audience pay attention. His dance/electronic sound warmed concert-goers and kept them going for a while. His performance was memorable but the part that everyone enjoyed was when he asked the audience to “boo” him as he mocked an entrance. He was very chill, funny and had some great dance moves.

When Jaymes came on stage everyone was ready for him. He started the night with the hit “Moondust” which we got to hear two times. A few seconds after he started there were some technical difficulties but that is when he revealed his charm. He laughed and joked about it and started all over again and the public loved it. Jaymes revealed that he also jokes with his friends to demonstrate that he cares for them.

After a few breaks and just before he played “Happiest Year,” he thanked the fans for their support. Back in 2018, Jaymes tweeted that he could be taking a permanent break from music but his fans continued to listen to him so he had to come back. After his performances at the Bottom Lounge, you can be sure that Chicago is happy that he is back.

One of the best moments of the night occurred when Jaymes’ performed “Habit” and showed off his skills with the guitar.  Another favorite moment was when he said bye to the audience but they asked for more and he gave them a different version of “Two More Minutes.” He admitted that he had forgotten the lyrics but kept going charmingly.

Shout out to Till who was fantastic on stage. He was the drummer, pianist, and Jaymes’ favorite. The vibes coming from him were remarkable as he played every instrument with passion. He took time after the show to take some pictures with the fans.

The overall experience was great and I can’t wait for more music from both Phil and Jaymes. All I can say is that it was my happiest night in a while.

Poco después de las 8:00, el primer Phil subió al escenario, pero el grito de uno de los fanáticos hizo que todo el público prestara atención. Sus sonidos de baile / electrónica calientaron al público y los mantuvieron activos por un buen tiempo. Su actuación fue memorable, pero la parte que todos disfrutaron / cuestionaron fue cuando le pidió al público que lo abucheara mientras entraba. Es muy tranquilo, divertido y tenía unos movimientos de baile geniales.

Cuando Jaymes subió al escenario todos estaban listos para él. Comenzó la noche con el éxito Moondust que pudimos escuchar dos veces. Aproximadamente 35 segundos en la canción experimentó algunas dificultades técnicas, pero fue cuando reveló su encanto. Se rió y bromeó al respecto y al público le encantó. Jaymes reveló que su lenguaje de amor es burlarse de las personas. De esa forma demuestra que se preocupa por ellos a cierta capacidad.

Tomó algunas pausas rápidas para hablar y justo antes de cantar Happiest Year agradeció a los fanáticos por su apoyo. En 2018, Jaymes publicó que estaba tomando un posible descanso permanente, pero los fanáticos siguen escuchando, por lo que tuvo que regresar. Después de sus actuaciones en el Bottom Lounge, Chicago está feliz de que haya regresado.

Las actuaciones favoritas de la noche fueron Habit en la que Jaymes pudo mostrar sus habilidades con la guitarra. La segunda fue cuando dijo adiós al público, pero el público pidió más y les dio una versión de Two More Minutes. Mientras cantaba se detubo y admitió que se había olvidado de la letra pero siguió avanzando con encanto.

Till Richter o el baterista favorito de Jaymes fue fantástico en el escenario. Era el baterista, pianista y mil usos. Las vibraciones provenientes de él eran notables, ya que tocaba cada instrumento con pasión.

La experiencia general fue excelente y no puedo esperar más música de Phil y Jaymes. Todo lo que puedo decir es que fue la noche más feliz.
