Another Show to Add to Your Watch-list: Extraordinary You
Bored of endlessly scrolling through random shows, in an attempt to find something decent to watch? For those of you interested in a romantic-comedy series with a twist, I've got the perfect recommendation for you!

Extraordinary You centers around Eun Dan Oh, a wealthy high school student with a terminal heart condition. Within her everyday life, she experiences memory lapses, jump-cutting from one moment to the next.
These lapses eventually lead her to discover that her life is actually a part of a romance novel! On top of that, she finds out that she is merely a side character meant to help the main protagonists get together.
Determined to not follow the role she was fated with, Dan Oh attempts to use every moment to break out of character and find her own romance within her own plot-line. Through her trials and tribulations, she meets another student who has an even smaller role than she does. His actual name isn’t even documented, and goes by Student #13. Together, the two try to change destiny.

Extraordinary You stars actress Kim Hye-Yoon as Eun Dan-Oh, and Rowoon as Student #13. Kim Hye-Yoon is known for her role in a more serious drama called Sky Castle. You may recognize Rowoon as one of the members of boy band SF9. Side note: Look up their music! You won’t regret it!

This show is simply incredible! Each of the characters have their own strengths and weaknesses and show the dynamic between which parts of their personality are part of the written “stage” by the writer of the novel, versus “offstage” where the character has free will. One can’t help but fall in love with each quirky trait the cast members display.
What also makes this drama so interesting is the lack of well-known individuals in the show. Most of these actors are showcasing their acting debuts which makes everything so interesting and fresh.
Extraordinary You is set to have 16 episodes, airing each one hour-long episode on Wednesdays and Thursdays. It is still ongoing as the most current one is episode 10, which will air on Halloween 2019. Come check it out if you can!
